I am an artist based in Sydney’s leafy north shore, and have been painting for 12 years, primarily in watercolour, and more recently, I have also been creating tonal paintings in ink.
I am drawn to subjects which display a sense of history and I find that the ‘vintage photo’ feel of sepia ink enables me to portray that.
Rather than using ink as a traditional drawing medium, I treat it like watercolour to produce graduations of tone. I love the way water interacts with ink and watercolour pigments to create colour variations and blending effects.
I am an active member of the Ku-Ring Gai Art Society, exhibit regularly, and am available for commissions on Pet portraits, Custom certificate frames or a Shelf of your favourite books.
Prints, cards and bookmarks available.
